Billing & Payments

QCan I Pay My Bill Using a Third-Party Payment Website?

The only bill pay website our company uses is our online payment portal. You can use this website to pay by credit card, debit card or e-check.

Please be advised that bank bill pay outside of our online payment portal, and third-party bill pay services, are not affiliated with us. We also cannot control when we receive payments from these companies, and this may cause you to accrue penalty charges.

We kindly request that our customers make online payments through our web portal.

Water Quality

QDo I Have “Hard Water”?

The water pumped from aquifers around Arizona is considered hard water. Hard water is not dangerous and has no negative health effects. It does create limescale and the white residue seen on wet surfaces as they dry.

Calcium and magnesium can be removed with an in-home water softener. This is not required, but some people prefer softer water. If you choose not to install a water softener, fixtures can be cleaned with over-the-counter products to minimize the effects of water hardness.

QWhat Setting Do I Use for My Water Softener?

Arizona is known to be classified as hard water. Refer to your water softener’s user manual for specific instructions on adjusting its settings.

Regular maintenance of your water softener is essential for optimal performance. We strongly advise scheduling an annual service for your water softener. Neglecting regular servicing may result in issues such as low water pressure. If you experience a drop in water pressure, one of the first things to check is your water softener. A well-maintained water softener ensures continuous and efficient water flow throughout your home.

Around Your Property

QWhat Do I Need to Do Before I Dig on My Property?

Before you dig on your property, you should always call 811 to locate underground utilities before doing any type of construction activity. The utility company will “locate” and temporarily mark the lines. Note that the markings will disappear after some time.

QHow Do I Perform a Leak Test?
  1. Turn off all indoor and outdoor appliances that use water.
  2. Carefully look at the current meter reading and write the number down. It reads much like a car’s odometer.
  3. Wait 30 minutes.
  4. After 30 minutes, go back and take another reading.
  5. Subtract the first reading from the second reading.
  6. If the difference is greater than 0, you have a leak.
Important: Do not turn on any water during the test.
